Dr. José Joaquin Alvarado Pulido

Joaquín Alvarado received the Electronic and Communications Engineer degree from Technological University of México, México, in 2003 and the Ph.D. degree from the Section of Solid-State Electronics, Department of Electrical Engineering, CINVESTAV-IPN, México, in 2007. From 2008 to 2010 he was a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, Electronics and Applied Mathematics, Université catholique de Louvain (UCL), Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.

In 2011 he was a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Telecommunication Department of the Faculty of Engineering (UNAM), México. At present he is a Titular Professor at the Research Center of Semiconductor Devices (CIDS-BUAP), Puebla, México.

His current research interest includes compact modelling of MuGFETs, characterization and simulation of radiation effects in advanced architectures of SOI circuits and in Thin Film Transistors as well as fabrication of inorganic, organic and hybrid pixel charge particles detectors.
